Why Immigration Matters to You Tu May 29, 2012, 7-9pm

The Social Justice Team of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Santa Fe is sponsoring a panel discussion presenting various perspectives on the impact and complex challenges of current immigration policies on Santa Fe and New Mexico. The purpose of the program is to inform, clarify and possibly inspire the audience to take thoughtful action.

 

Panelists include:

  •  Marcela Díaz, Executive Director of Somos Un Pueblo Unido
  •  Juan Lopez, Representative from the United Workers’ Center
  •  Rebecca Kitson, Immigration attorney
  •  Miguel Angel Acosta, Organizer and educator

 

This program will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation’s Fogelson Hall (107 W. Barcelona Road in Santa Fe) from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.
