Rahim Balsara sharing experiences of

Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and western China


Rahim Balsara provided strategic planning in Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and western China for an international non-governmental organization. He will share his personal experiences and stories about his two years in central Asia developing and implementing cross-border response programs as well as community emergency response training for over 400 villages.

Rahim in 2001 received the Prairie State Spirit of Excellence Award for his strategic planning and fundraising programs for the Red Cross chapters in Illinois. He has a Master of Business Administration as well as a Master of Arts in Organizational Learning and Instructional Development.  Currently, he is Regional Chief Operating Officer for the American Red Cross in New Mexico.
