This weeks’ service was the annual “State of the U. Union” report from Rev. Nancy about our progress and areas of continuing growth, along with a financial update from our treasurer.
Stewardship is perhaps the most important community effort we make together, since it ultimately dictates what we can and cannot do in the next year- both for ourselves and for the surrounding community. Our service this week focused on our theme for this year: Sustaining Community, Hopes, and Dreams.
“Service Is Our Prayer” is from the Affirmation of our Aspirations that we recite every Sunday. We explored what that means on a personal and on a community basis.
