We explored our shared lives at Westside through the imagery of weaving. We sang beloved folk songs and discussed adopting a new-to-us symbol that embodies this theme as part of our Spiritual Growth Initiative.
Carole Eagleheart and Donna Johnston will help us become more aware of the gifts of the earth in a program called The Bounty of Summer. They’ll tell us about ancient festivals around the Northern Hemisphere celebrating the first fruits of the harvest. We will explore how these celebrations can enrich our lives.
We talk about the elephant in the room that holds us all together. In our pursuit of congregational growth, this is very important for us to pursue together.
