Sunday Program- 11am.

Dear People of Westside,

At last Sunday’s Potluck and Town Hall Meeting we were great in number, lively, and very well fed! News about resources and upcoming projects was shared; the information is reported below so you have all the information you need to participate. Thank you all for your presence, your delicious potluck dishes, and your engagement with the things that matter to all of us.

Our schedule this week is light:

  • Do you have trouble using Breeze? Rich Guidi will be available on the first Sunday of the month after our service to help you. Bring your device- laptop, tablet, phone- and Rich will walk you through setting up and signing on to our UUWC information center. He will also help you learn how to navigate it. Whatever is giving you fits, Rich will help you manage! Coffee is ok to bring with you. Location TBA depending on painting project!
  • Tomorrow/Thursday, April 24th the Women’s Group meets 2:30-4pm in the Conference Room. Please use the Courtyard door. Maggie Green will start us off with part II of Women and Weight, beginning with health issues. All women are welcome!
  • This week our Adult RE class is reading up through Chapter 5 of “ A Little History of World Religion” This is about 22 pages, so very doable! Class meets in the Conference Room on Sunday mornings at 9:30am. Coffee IS available. J
  • The Social Justice Committee will meet at 12:30pm in the Conference Room on Sunday, April 27th. If you did not receive minutes and the Agenda, please contact Laurel Anderson. This is a volunteer committee; everyone is welcome to join in!
  • Our service on Sunday is a celebration of Earth Day, titled, “Go Green!” Whether you hear that as a cheer or a challenge, you are hearing it right. Our service will include special music, a unique slide presentation, and a special ritual using cake (yes, you can eat it later!). Rev. Nancy and Wendy Dampier will be co-hosting.

Here is some resource information for you:
