Although we acknowledge the Hallmark happiness of Mother’s Day, we will also be celebrating the complex origin of the holiday and the deeper meaning it draws on.
Join us as Rev. Dr. Nancy Hitt and Rev. Judy Deutsch share this week’s program titled “Domestic Terrorism”. The service is based on UU Principle #6: the goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all AND Source #2: Words and deeds of prophetic women and men which challenge us to confront powers and structures of evil with justice, compassion, and the transforming power of love.
“Nevertheless, She Persisted” celebrates the first Sunday in National Women’s History Month. Donna Johnston and Stacie Gebeke lead the program.
