• Rio Rancho Snack Pack
  • About half a dozen individuals have volunteered from the congregation to work with this program. Sherry Nofke has volunteered to help set up and organize. 
  • Transfer of organizational items and meetings are in the works, so UUWC can take over this project. 

• Little Library
  • Thank you Michelle P. for the library on the premises. Amazing. 
  • Schools are still in too much chaos for this program to happen at the moment. The school contact point has been in communication.  
  • Working on building a team to help create about 6 LL in advance
  • Still need books sorted

• Ongoing Legislation
  • What has passed – Abortion Rights, Aid in Dying put thank yous on this
  • Thank you, Matt, for keeping us current on Legislative information 
  • Matt will send more information surrounding Marijuana Reform.
  • Veteran’s Discrimination bills did not pass THIS IS IMPORTANT TO OUR COMMITTEE.

  • Kathy will send out more information on THRIVE
• Indigenous Lands 
  • Judy will look into which Indigenous lands that the Congregation rests on.

  • The issue was brought up in the Town Hall meeting
  • Jay will offer pickups the few days before
  • Weekly Reminder separate 
  • An announcement in the service is really important
  • Should we continue to try to support Haven House
  • Timing of the notice
  • Ongoing Drop off ability next to Rio the Dog’s paper.
