Thank you all for a thoughtful and productive meeting. Below are the notes from that meeting. 
1. NM Black   

 a.  Review of voting results of Town Hall Meeting.    

 b. Jay has sent a short email reaching out to NM Black, no return contact has been made as of this meeting, Rev. Nancy and Jay will inform this committee as soon as contact is established.    

 c. A conversation in regards to safety concerns,  it was decided that when warranted a separate meeting will be held to address safety. 

2.Store House West 

  a. First Sunday of the Month Donations will be staffed by Kathy and Matt from 11am- 2pm.  

   b. UUWC will participate in Store House West’s Thanksgiving Donation Drive, held at First Presbyterian Jay will volunteer from 1-3p  Congregational participation is highly encouraged. Rev. Nancy will contact Pastor Cathy. 

 3. Thanksgiving connections 

    a. Rev. Nancy will assess the want and needs of the congregation for a possible Thanksgiving meal.    

   b. a social meeting via Zoom will be established for friends and members to socialize at their leisure.  

    c. Bake sale as a possible fundraising event for Christmas.

 
4.  Westside Reads   

 a. Communication between RISD and UUWC has been limited. Nancy will attempt to push communications. 

 b, Westside Reads will continue to move forward, via UUWC property and member homes.  

   c. Jay will present to this committee decal options and pricing.      

d. Rev. Nancy will communicate with members that may want to build libraries.   

  e.  There is a strong recommendation of hand sanitizer and calling utility companies before digging for posts. 

5. Website ideas  

   a. conversation about Social Justice Committee’s website presence. This includes; storehouse west food drives, Animal Justice/ Ministry, PRIDE, previous writing campaigns, and work with Watermelon Ranch & Blood Drives.    

b. UUJC and Stuff the pig to be brought up with Board.  

  c. Pictures of Storehouse west Food drive and previous Women’s march should be present.
