3. Minister’s Report
   1. Met with office manager. Thank you, Priscilla, for the bulletins. They look great.
   2. Preached 3 out of 4 Sundays. Attended all required meetings. Set up social hall for coffee hour. Pastoral care happened for members. Snack Packs took a lot of time. It starts next month. Helped refine services. Midweek announcement.
   3. Thanks Nancy. You’ve worked hard through these challenging times and we appreciated all of your time and continuous efforts to guide us.
4. Treasurer’s Report
   1. Jay and Dave interviewed 2 people for the bookkeeper position. The interviews lasted for about 45 minutes to an hour. Colette Watson signed a contract for services beginning in July 2021.  She will be trained by Michelle Martin and Dave in Power Church.
   2. Bank reconciliations will need to be done We still have a deficit and will not be able to meet our expenses as of October. ~$2,000 short
   3. St Francis is still planning on helping us audit.
   4. Reviewed discretionary funds report.
5. Building Maintenance
   1. Swamp cooler- 2 companies looked at the coolers. Company will not guarantee fixing the leaky water tube with anything other than copper piping ~$300. The heating and cooling systems are over 25 years old. Both swamp coolers are operational now.
   2. Should we look into a mini-splits for the sanctuary?
6. Social Justice- Our goal is to open more doors and welcome. What are our core interests? Art, music, meditation. What festivals are open? How can we interest people in our goals and principles?
   1. Congregational Garage Sale. This is not an auction or consignment. Oct 16
   2. Growth initiative- Discussion of bringing Christian Jesus as a service to be more welcoming to others. Christian trauma services will be needed.
   3. Labyrinth events in the fall
   4. Meditation classes (Amber online)
   5. Theology on Tap- Evening options and out in the community would be appreciated
   6. Artwork that plainly displays principles inside the building.

   8. Evening outreach series about

    1. Carol, Laurel, Janet volunteered to make a promotional video by August 1^st.

    1.  Presented by Matt. He will install a new batteries on the defib and give a presentation about emergencies at Town Hall.
