- Treasurer Report
a. We are within $2,000 of being solvent for this year. Next year’s budget is
about $14,000, but about $22,000 short for pledges. Please send in your
pledges. - Minister’s Report
a. Minister’s report was heard and accepted.
b. Met with office administrator about changing the heater and resetting the
programmable thermostat.
c. Weekly preaching, meeting with members, and uploading the services is
working fine.
d. Pastoral care is happening because some of our members have passed.
e. Holiday Blog Space- Nancy is working on connecting people through her blog
space on the website to share what members are doing over the holidays. It
is in progress.
f. She would like to create an open Zoom call and people can come to visit. - Strengthening Our Community
a. NM Black- Jay has contacted NM Black and they were excited to have
support in the community. They do not have anything planned right now but
will keep us in mind for the future. We are pleased to take a step to live our
values. Social Justice will continue to search for ways to touch the
community and people in need. Possible contacts with the local women’s
shelter, Big Brother/Big Sister. We are looking for opportunities to connect
and not just donate, donate, donate.
b. Little Library- Nancy is in contact with RRPS, but the schools are still
trying to work on it. Placement of the library on school grounds is a sticking
point. We will start the plans for a Little Library on our property.
c. Living by Heart- Starts in January. Meetings will be the second and fourth
Fridays and will meet on Zoom through June, 6-7:30pm. Multiples covenant
group will be formed with 4-6 people. Living by Heart materials are available
free for an email document or $10 for a printed copy. Contact Michelle
Poiani or Nancy if you are interested in leading a group. Training is available.
d. Covenant Group Leadership – Do you have a great idea? Bring it to Nancy or
Michelle Poiani and we can talk about training, leadership, or creating a
short-term covenant group. We are interested in creating small groups to expand our horizons. Possible covenant groups include Building Your Own - Theology, book groups, women’s groups, men’s groups, drumming circles

- iii. Bake sale during December
- iv. Christmas Eve ideas- Sing-along, open Zoom call, service on
- Hanukkah, Kwanza, candle lighting.
f. Membership- To be announced
g. Coffee hour- 3 rd Sundays at noon
h. Video History- A short version will be available for the website and a more
expansive video for our records. A pamphlet will have a timeline of UUWS.
i. Peace River- Dedication will be filmed in Nov. Thanks to Joe Mraz for giving
the congregation more river rocks to paint.
- Stewardship- Treasurer and Nancy will contact families about their pledges. We
must pay for our construction loan (mortgage), heating so the pipes do not freeze,
PNM, and insurance. - Endowment- Judy volunteered to be the third member of the Endowment Committee

a. Difficulty using Pay Pal for the Giving Tree. Notes are not always popping up
to designate where the funds are going. Perhaps an extra step of sending an
email but that is not always possible.
b. Stuff the Pig- still on the drawing table. The challenge is creating a
dedicated Stuff the Pig/ Giving Tree on Pay Pal. Share the Pig was originally
to help local charities. UUSJ for Share the Pig until the May Town Hall. 4 in
Favor; 1 opposed.
c. Steve will send pictures for weddings and Pride to add to the website.
d. Thank you, Rick Gallagher, for keeping the Facebook page relevant. Your
posts are keeping people in touch.
e. Amazon Smile is still in the works.
f. The camcorder will be ordered for church use. - Town Hall, 3 rd Sunday
